Job Openings: Chief Supervising Engineer

Job Description: 1. Determine the division of labor and job responsibilities for personnel in the project supervision organization. 2. Host the preparation of project supervision plans, approve project supervision detailed implementation rules, and manage the daily work of the project supervision organization. 3. Review subcontractors' qualifications and provide recommendations to the client and the general contractor.

Check and supervise the work of supervising personnel, adjust personnel based on the progress of engineering projects, and replace unsuitable supervising personnel during the implementation of supervising work;

5. Preside over supervising meetings (including regular supervising meetings), issue documents and instructions from the project supervising institution;

6. Review the commencement reports, construction organization designs, technical schemes, and schedule plans submitted by the contractor;

7. Review and sign off on the contractor's applications, payment certificates, and final settlement;

8. Review and handle engineering changes;

9. Preside over or participate in the investigation of quality accidents in engineering projects;

10. Mediate contract disputes between the principal and the contractor, handle claims, and review extensions of time;

11. Organize the preparation and issuance of monthly supervising reports, phase reports, special reports, and summaries of work for the project supervising institution;

12. Review and sign off on quality inspection and evaluation data for sub-divisional and unit projects, review the contractor's application for completion, organize supervising personnel to inspect projects awaiting acceptance, and participate in the final acceptance of engineering projects;

13. Preside over the organization and preparation of supervising documentation for engineering projects.

Requirements for Employment: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related architectural field. 2. Hold certificates and training qualifications issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development for senior construction supervision engineers. 3. At least 8 years of experience in construction supervision, with at least 4 years as a chief supervisor. 4. Experience in organizing and leading supervision project teams. 5. Experience in supervising projects related to food and beverage facilities or entertainment venues. 6. Excellent oral and written communication skills in Chinese. 7. Familiarity with relevant project software including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite, Auto CAD. 8. Knowledge of government laws and professional standards related to construction and municipal engineering. 9. Preference given to those with experience in leading engineering design projects. 10. Preference given to those with experience in supervising foreign-funded projects. 11. Preference given to those with working proficiency in English. 12. Preference given to those with overseas work experience.
